We operate two different seasons each calendar year. The first, and the biggest, is our Fall Season where nearly 1,000 kids are organized into dozens of teams for games scheduled between August and November. The second season is a combination of our Select program and our Indoor program. More information about these seasons is included below.
Fall Season

Most families are familiar with our Fall Season. It is during the Fall Season that we register nearly 1,000 kids, organize dozens of teams, have an Opening Day Parade, and hold a Picture Day. When you see the kids playing soccer at our parks during the late summer and early fall, this is the season they are playing.

Registration for the Fall Season usually occurs in the months of April, May, and June. Be sure to check this website, check our local AntelopeNews newspaper, and look for flyers and banners announcing our registration dates. If you register your child during these registration dates, they will be placed on a team and will play at least half of every game they attend, regardless of skill or experience.
Registration Dates Registration has closed for our Fall 2010 season and our teams have been organized. If you have any registration questions, please visit our Fall Season Registration page.

The season begins with practices starting August 1. Games will be scheduled from August through November and all games will be played on Saturday mornings. The season ends with a Regional Tournament scheduled just before Thanksgiving each year, weather permitting.

Our U6, U8, and U10 divisions will play their games at the same park all season long. Our U12, U14, and U16/19 divisions will play their home games here in Antelope, but will also travel to other communities for their away games. Currently our Area includes the communities of Antelope, Rio Linda, Davis, Esparto, and Winters.

Just remember that our registration dates usually fall just before the end of the normal little league baseball and softball season. Be sure to check back often to see the list of registration dates.

Select Season

Registration Dates Registration Dates will be announced in the Fall of 2010
Our Select Season is only for those players who registered and attended at least half of their Fall Season games. We usually field a much smaller group of teams for this season which is comprised of players with a great desire to continue playing competitive soccer throughout the winter months. Ultimately the number of teams formed depends upon the number of players registering. Of the players who do register for the Select Season, the respective coaches will select the players who best fit a well-balanced. team.

Registration for the Select Season begins near the end of the Fall Season. Teams are selected and notified in December, and the Select Season runs from January through March. Quite often the Select Season teams continue on together after the Select Season and play in the many tournaments scheduled from March through June.

Antelope AYSO has teamed up with the USASA to provide an adult recreational soccer league right here in Antelope - a first for Northern California! The league was formed by, and for, the parents who come out to watch and support their kids, but it is not a requirement that your kids participate in our program. This league was formed for any adult who wants to come and play in a recreational soccer league.

Player ages - Open to all adults. For AYSO players who have aged past the U19 division, you must have reached 19 by the preceeding August 1. In other words, if you played in the Fall Season, you would not be eligible to play in the Adult League the following spring.
